about

The OneUps Volume 1 is the culmination of everything that OneUp Studios has been working toward, and the video game cover band's first album makes the realization these goals even more apparent. The instrumental performances in this collection put style and musicianship before all else, and this makes for a brand of music that easily appreciated by any listener, regardless of their level of interest in gaming. This six-piece band takes songs from games like the Super Mario and Zelda series, as well as Donkey Kong Country, Bomberman, and many more, and gives them new interpretations that takes game music into bold new directions.
